Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Queens Park, Northwest London
Salary Package: £35,000 – £45,000 basic / £60,000 – £70,000 OTE
Dove & Hawk have partnered with an established agency based in Queens Park, Northwest London. We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, building client relationships, developing strategic business plans, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying Residential Market Opportunities
- Market Research: Analyse trends in the residential property market, including buyer behaviour, popular property types, and emerging locations to inform business strategies.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors’ offerings to identify market gaps and opportunities for differentiation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Director to optimize the business development process and ensure strategic alignment.
Building and Maintaining Client Relationships
- Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients, including homebuyers, landlords, property investors, and sellers.
- Lead Generation Strategies: Develop and implement lead generation initiatives, such as online marketing campaigns, referral programs, and outreach to an extensive database of contacts.
- Client Acquisition: Foster relationships with new clients, including property developers, investors, and real estate agents.
- Client Retention: Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients by offering consistent support, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities.
Strategic Planning
- Revenue Targets: Set and achieve revenue targets to align with business growth plans.
- Business Development Strategy: Develop and refine strategies to drive business expansion, ensuring alignment with company goals and prevailing market conditions.
- Property Acquisition Strategy: Identify and source attractive properties to grow the agency’s portfolio and maximize market presence.
Developing and Executing Sales Strategies
- Sales Pipelines: Create and manage sales pipelines to maintain a steady stream of properties for sale and rental listings.
- Closing Deals: Lead negotiations, close deals, and ensure smooth completion of property sales or rental agreements.
Brand Building and Marketing Initiatives
- Promotional Materials: Develop brochures, digital content, and marketing collateral to showcase the agency’s properties and services effectively.
Sales and Revenue Generation
- Lead Generation and Conversion: Identify and engage potential leads, pitch services, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Contracts and Negotiations: Handle contract negotiations related to property sales or leasing agreements, securing favourable terms for the company.
- Competitive Pricing Analysis: Offer market-based pricing strategies and property valuations to maintain competitiveness in sales and lettings.
Key Requirements:
- Proactive, Innovative, and Adaptable: Ability to quickly carve out market share, establish credibility, and grow the business in a competitive environment.
- Relationship Building and Market Understanding: Proven expertise in developing strong relationships, understanding the residential property market, and delivering exceptional client service.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a BDM role, ideally within the real estate sector.
- Real Estate Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the residential property market, including sales, lettings, and market trends.
