Job Title: Head of Property Management
Salary: £50,000- £60,000 + Commission
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00am- 18:00pm
My client, an independent property agency that are going through a period of growth are looking for a Head of Property Management to join the close-knit team in Central London. You will be responsible for a growing team, helping to oversee and manage a portfolio of 600 APT properties. This is a great opportunity to join an established, yet growing business in a leadership role!
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Managing and overseeing the portfolio of properties along with supporting the other Property Managers
- Dealing with anything that is escalated as the main point of contact ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date with effective communication
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair works, ensuring contractors deliver high-quality service within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure regular property inspections are completed and that all properties remain compliant with current health and safety standards.
- Oversee tenancy agreements, renewals, terminations and possession processes in line with relevant legal requirements.
- Manage key financial processes including rent collection, budgeting, arrears oversight and reporting.
- Resolve queries, complaints and disputes professionally, balancing landlord and tenant expectations while protecting the interests of the business.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with external agents, suppliers and contractors to ensure services are delivered effectively.
Must have:
- Proven track record of team management
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised and punctual
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- A keen problem solver and good under pressure
- Client facing
- Strong administration and excellent IT skills
- Ability to build long-term relationships with landlords
- Positive and encouraging attitude
Good to have but not essential:
- ARLA qualified
- New homes experience
